Once a member of the Vanguards, Adric forswore his old allegiances and pledged himself to the cause of the Scattering. Wounded in battle against the Fallen Kingdom, and left behind after being mistaken for dead, he was found by a Grove patrol who were posed to finish the job. But a Sapling saw the spirit that burned within the young man, and spared his life, and since then Adric has been one of the Chosen Grove’s staunchest defenders. His sister, Coleen, herself a Vanguard, only just learned her brother still lives, and she plots to free him from what she assumes is a magical captivity.
Not essential, but worth summoning. This deck supports champions very well, and Adric benefits from that support.
If you draw him early, you can discard him without much regret. But if not, he’s worth playing to keep up your aggressive magic tempo. More useful in slower matchups or when ranged units are key. The core value comes if you can keep it hidden getting boosts adding damage for free to your opponent units.
